I have used most of the previous models of Supernova Glide with varying success over the years. After a couple pairs of Glide 4, I tried some other brands, but realized in running in the old Glides that they were more flexible and responsive than Saucony Glide and Asics Nimbus. The Glide 5 might be their best so far, however they're still slightly too much shoe and slightly more stiff than the perfect balance I'm searching for. Also at 340+ miles, I feel they have lost too much cushioning at this point. Ideally they'd last 400 miles. I noticed in this review (http://www.runningshoesguru.com/2013/04/adidas-supernova-glide-5-review/), that said "Adidas recommends this shoe for paces between 7:00 and 12:00 per mile." The reviewer thinks they're more suited for 8:00 and slower. I'd really, REALLY like to know where Adidas said that, as the most frustrating thing is the lack of details on what exactly they intend each model for. This applies to most companies. I'm getting slower and currently recovering from a quad injury but even now I usually like to pick up my pace to sub 7 most workouts. I've been using the Boston for fast workouts, but would like something that meets in the middle. Rather than the Glide 6 Boost (the first model that uses Boost, so you need to correct your listing), I ordered a pair of Energy Boost2 which arrive tomorrow.

I hadn't run in Adidas for years, but the local running store had it on sale, so I decided to give it a try. I have been pleasantly surprised.

I like it better than the Energy Boost. One of the selling points of Boost is the claim that it doesn't wear out. I can attest to the fact that my 3 pairs of Energy Boost and my four pairs of Supernova Glide Boost have worn the outsole before the midsole so the claims might be legit. Also, the current pair I have was bought online but I've also bought in a specialty running store, just not my current pair.
