Overall

I am really pretty impressed with this shoe. The burrito tongue thing actually works really well. The flymesh is kinda gimmicky but works just fine. I have a narrow heel and wife forefoot and this shoe fits my foot type well. I like the midsole balance of cushion and support for some mix of trails and roads that I deal with on most of my runs. Hard surfaces handled as well as the wet sloppy trails I am using these on right now as well. Good ventilation, dries reasonably well. As I have gotten older my foot splays much more than when I was younger, I love the room in the forefoot for this shoe. I did not get to try the prior Kigers, but I am impressed that it is really quite a good balance of cushion/support and performance on the trails. Not a super light racing flat feel so look elsewhere if you wanted this in a trail shoe. Durability though is quite good in my opinion. No extreme where in the lugs for me yet.
