nice to go fast

Anonymous runner · Dec 18, 2020

4/5

Overall

I like it for helping me in running fast. Midfoot striking in Adios 4 works well, in contrast to some other Adidas trainers... It's not the most comfortable shoes that I've worn, but still it's OK.

Excellent Uptempo Training and 5k-Half Marathon Racing Shoe

EPMD · Feb 15, 2020

5/5

Overall

Pros: Durability, styling, traction in wet conditions, energy return, laces Cons: Heavier than competitor options, very tight entry into the shoe I am very happy with the shoes for intervals, tempos, and races. I would suggest using something firmer and lighter for 5k racing, but this gets the job done if you want a general road race option. The biggest strength is the durability. I have two pairs, and the old pair with 400+ miles on it still feels very similar to the brand new pair. Out of all the running shoes I have owned, these seem to last the longest without materials breaking apart or cushioning deteriorating.

Former Marathon record holder still a champ

Primesector1511 · Jan 11, 2020

5/5

Overall

In the world of the next and 4% its hard to imagine racing in other shoes. I did the NYC Marathon wearing a pair of red Adizero Adios 4’s and the pulled trough. The shoes are light and feel fast. They are stable but after 20 miles no matter what shoe you wear you will be hurting. There is enough cushioning to keep you going and finishing strong. I refuse to spend $200+ for the Next % but this is a great option

Adidas Adios for the win

Anonymous runner · Jan 10, 2020

4/5

Overall

I was looking for a shoe that would fit snuggly on a narrow foot without having to tie the laces tightly to acheive that affect. I had owned the 1st Adidas Adios before the Boost and got used to the firmness. These are pretty close to those. The only thing making them not as comfortable is the amount of cushion in the forefoot seems less. The drop differential from the heel to the toe seems more significant. Perhaps that makes the shoe more responsive, which is cool. As an everyday trainer for up to 9 miles though, I'm missing the extra bit of cushion in the forefoot. Still recommend these for the foot and style I described.
