Great All Around Daily Trainer

Overall

I've now run 300 miles in my SL's. I'm on the heavier side (for a runner at least) and pushing 200lbs. They show moderate wear. I've used them for both long runs and intervals and they've been good at both. I got mine for less than fifty bucks too, so can't complain at that price. Think they'll last to 400, maybe 450-500 miles! Does run a little small though.

Good all around option

Overall

Nice and resonsive. I found New Balance Fuel Cell very squishy, these are a lot stiffer underfoot. Trued Hoka Untraboost and they were meh, settled on these for tempos and the like a nice shoe.

The outer sole isn't great though. looks like three or 4 layers and wears badly.

Shoe is good, cushioning is good. It helps with my tendonitis. I bought it for $60, good value. But I am disappointed that the rubber on the inside of the left heel is peeling off after less than 50 miles in the shoe.

Best affordable Adidas shoe

Overall

Lately I’ve been using different Adidas shoes for many types of runs. The Adizero SL is such a great option since it’s great for easy runs, tempo workouts and it’s so affordable. It is cheaper than Boston or Takumi Sen. I do have to admit that you may do long runs in them but you start feeling, as the run goes longer, that the cushioning goes away. Its very light, comfortable and fast.

Excellent step into deep mid-sole shoes

Overall

This is my first move towards the new super shoe world of high stack soles. It doesn’t have carbon but is light, robust & easy to run in. Previously I have always used light sole racing type shoes and never had a problem. Moving to the SLs was a leap of faith I’m pleased I made. Durability is brilliant with little wear for the mileage. Grip is good , wet or dry. Post run fatigue I feel is improved on previous models so that is positive. Key question is whether pace has improved at all. I remain undecided on this, it is only marginal if there is. I’m enjoying using this shoe and if you are wanting to follow a similar path of style change you won’t go far wrong.
