Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Light 7.6 oz build with tall 40mm stack for easy miles.
  • Rubber coverage holds up well, so expect a long training life.
  • Runners feel they get plenty of shoe for the money.

Cons

  • Underfoot comfort lags well behind most trainers on long runs.
  • Several reviewers found the fit snug, consider sizing up.
  • Dual-foam midsole rides firmer than the big stack suggests.

Inoffensive Everyday Mileage Trainer

Anonymous runner · Jun 8, 2026

3/5

Overall

Good value for an everyday mileage trainer (from recovery runs on grass to steadier (6m/m) long runs); lightweight but lacks rigidity — laces are slippery and frequently come undone (even when tightly tied) and midsole loses it's spring/structure in c. 3 months at 50-60 mpw — very à la mode with the wannabe runfluencer/modern-day hobby-jogger, which may or may not detract from its appeal. The lack of structure won't provide much support but if your style is fairly neutral you won't be thinking about the shoe a great deal during runs. Would recommend if you were ever a fan of the pre-Carbon era Adidas workout/race day shoes like the Adios, Takumi Sen, or Boston and you're looking for a fairly benign shoe under $100.

The shoe is comfortable and has a great appearance. Performance wise its a good daily trainer for your zone 2 runs, tempo runs, and speed runs and its price is reasonable.

Great durable daily trainer.

Overall

I got this shoe as part of our team shoes and was not expecting to love it, however once I broke it in this shoe quickly became a favorite for any run up to 10 miles. It is light and responsive due to the light strike running through the shoe but maintains enough cushion to aid in recovery.
