Sub 2, The good, the fast, the bad

mccarley_oneill · Jul 4, 2018

4/5

Overall

I was truly excited to get my hands on the Adidas Sub 2 shoe, having read all of the online press and then having ran in the Nike vaporfly 4% i was intrigued to see how they would compare. Before anything though I have ran in other Adidas Shoes such as the Boston's, I always found this shoe to be to firm on the fore foot for myself, but having finally got the Sub 2 I was presently suprised by their cushioning even though they are a racing flat. I did not feel I would ever run a marathon in these but once you hit a tempo run, 5k, 10k in these they automatically feel fast, they want you to open your stride, and there is enough cushion in the foot to feel comfortable for these distances. The look and feel of the shoe I think makes it a great addition to the collection, the downside its price tag, which will put so many potential customers off it!! Shame Adidas...
