Overall

Good shoe for anything from tempo runs to long run. I was used to running in shoes with 0-4mm drop so the heel felt really high at first but I got used to it. I've run 2000 miles in 4 different pairs of tempo boosts and I have no complaints.

I wanted to purchase a light weight stability shoes, that was close to the ground, and responsive. That is exactly what I got from the Adidas Tempo 7. I currently have 300 (give or take) miles on my pair, and I just ordered a new pair so I can switch back and forth between the two! The boost material gives great energy return. Personally I think the boost material is better than the new Saucony Everun technology. So far the Tempos have been a great training shoe, and I hope the next 200 miles will be the same.

Great lightweight trainer for someone looking for a responsive ride and a small amount of pronation control. Shoe lasts a bit longer than the Tempo 6 but the tread doesn't hold up much beyond 300-350 miles if you do a lot of running on asphalt. There's not quite enough shoe to protect you on rocky surfaces also, so stick to well-groomed trails or roads.
