If You Want a Good Zero-Drop

Anonymous runner · Nov 21, 2024

5/5

Overall

Good all-around zero-drop shoe that does what it is supposed to do without being too heavy or bulky.  That said, I run in everything from barefoot to Hokas so they might be a little more cushion and support than I need.  But for most people, a good combination of cushion and protection with the added bonus of wide forefoot for those who want or need it.

Classic lone peak fit with upgraded style

Anonymous runner · Oct 29, 2024

5/5

Overall

Not much has changed from the last Lone Peaks, this model still has the wide toebox and zero drop with the same full rubber grippy claw outsole. The upper seems to be a bit more weatherproof with a more plastic feel to it, but still fits well. With narrow feet it's harder to get a good lockdown in the shoe but still possible. Only complaint is that after a couple hundred miles the outside layer of the upper has started peeling a little bit.

Great, Natural feeling shoe

Anonymous runner · Jun 24, 2024

5/5

Overall

This is my first pair of Altras after getting curious about their “foot-shaped” shoe. So far I’ve loved the way my feet have been adjusting to the zero drop shoe and Altra’s wider toe box. The cushioning is minimal which hasn’t been an issue personally and, after playing around with lacing, I love how my foot locks in and it feels like I’m running without shoes (in a good way).
