Overall

After running in the Clifton 4, the Vanquish is firmer and feels a little heavier and bulkier. I can run fairly quickly in it, but I wouldn't use it in a workout or race. I think it works well as a daily trainer, and it performed well during several quicker long runs (12-16 miles). It fits closely and is narrower than other shoes, but I didn't have any hot spots.

Overall

This is a sturdy and solid shoe for someone with one of those very middle of the road feet. If you take the averages of all shoe options -- some pronation, medium arches, standard width, etc. -- you have several shoe options, in my opinion. I call these dummy shoes. This list includes the Hoka One One Clifton, Brooks Ravenna, Asics DS-Trainer and now the Hoka One One Vanquish. This happens to be my favorite. Try it!

My thoughts on the Hoka One One Vanquish 3

Overall

After settling into the Hoka One One Clifton series, I thought I'd deviate a little bit to this cousin shoe. With a slightly pronating foot that's worked well with the Brooks Ravenna and Asics DS-Trainer, I have to say, this is my favorite model of the four mentioned. I'm in them for as long as they don't change dramatically.
