The Mizuno Neo Vista is an incredible training shoe. It is very smooth and comfortable. The best way to describe it is like setting on cruise control. The shoe will keep you running smoothly.
Pros:
Very cushioned and comfortable. It doesn't hurt my joints at all, like some shoes (Like the Brooks Launch) do.
It is very well balanced. They used a pretty soft foam but balanced it with a fiberglass plate to make it more stable.
The arch support is good too. One of my feet has a high arch, the other has a low arch, and I didn't feel any problems with arch support.
It has a polarizing upper. Most will love it, but a few will probably hate it. More on this in the cons.
(Possible) Cons:
This is not a speed shoe. It has very little explosiveness or pop. It is very cushioned, but not incredibly bouncy. I ran a 5K time trial in them, and it was not bad at all. So it's not too mushy.
It basically forces you to have a midfoot strike though, which some may not like. It also is not PEBAX, but I think they made the foam good enough that it doesn't matter. It uses nitrogen-infused EVA if you're curious.
The upper is pretty unique and I find that it fits pretty well, but not exceptionally. My feet are pretty narrow though.
Kinda expensive (but I think it's worth it)
Overall:
Very good shoe. 9/10. The only things that could be better are a little more pop, and maybe some structure to the upper (which they are already fixing on the next version).

Really can't understand why this shoe isn't getting more reviews and on everyone's lips. Incredibly soft and cushioned but with a stabilizing plate to make sure its not too mushy. Only 100 miles in but would rank this higher than theNB super comp trainer yet over $100 cheaper . Overall "looks shit, feels great"

Spongey shoe that I've gotten 100 miles on thus far. Can fit a little snug and the sock-like upper makes it difficult for wider feet. Fun for regular, maintenance runs

I've moved mainly to highly cushioned trainers since a stress fracture 2 years ago. I've used the Invincible 1 & 2 and am currently on my second pair of the Superblast. The Neo Vista is lighter, softer and provide a quicker transition than the others. They are almost on par with the Endorphin Speed, but with much more cushion. Due to the softness and the cut out in the middle of the midsole, they are not the most stable shoe, although the plate helps, especially with turnover. I have a narrow heel, but somewhat wide forefoot and like the fit of the upper. I like the sock-like upper material and find it very comfortable and supportive, though others have complained it is too tight. I don't think the Neo Vista will be as durable as the Superblast, but wear seems o.k. so far. All-in-all, these are fun to run in and I'm impressed at their versatility from long runs to shorter, quicker efforts.
