(I got this for $60 btw)

Overall

Man... I love this shoe. On Sierra the Princess Blue colorway is only $50-$60, and this shoe was $180 at release! Now, I probably wouldn't pay $180 for this shoe, but it can usually be found around $100.

Anyways, I like this shoe because it's great at ALL speeds. It provides a lot of springiness for fast runs (<1 mi intervals) and has a nice shape to support a fast landing. Its soles definitely don't have the "walking on pillows" feel that most distance-oriented shoes do, but they definitely have enough support to keep my long runs (~15 mi) comfortable. Really, a great all-around shoe that I would highly recommend if you're gonna be doing all sorts of workouts for track and field or something. If you only aim to run long and slow, I'd say that you'd probably be better off with a more cushioned shoe that aims to either fully be a road runner or trail shoe. The Wave Rebellion is kind of in the middle, with a bit of a cushion in the sole but with the outsole being pretty hard and trail shoe-esque. But then again, the versatility is what I appreciate about it, since I don't have the money to have a lot of shoes in my rotation.

As for the fit, people often complain that the toebox is too wide. I guess I have wide feet, because the fit feels great to me. This is the only shoe I've had in a few years that I haven't started noticing holes at the front in after ~250-300 miles. If you have narrow feet I'd probably avoid this one.

For me, this shoe is perfect, but I could definitely see why others in different scenarios could want different shoes.
