Didn't love it at first but grew to. Came from the saucony A6 and it definitely has a different feel but I came to love the 1400v 2. Rip in the upper near the toe box around 275 miles. Am preparing to retire them.

My first summer of big (relative) mileage was in the nike marathoners and I've been looking for comparable shoes to train in since it was discontinued. I loved the saucony a5 and a6 but they started to wear down around 200 miles. I just converted to the NB 1400v2 and love it so far.

Overall

No complaints about the shoe's performance. Very comfortable, suitable for almost any type of run except when the footing gets really dicey (treads not entirely adequate for ice, extreme mud). Lightweight, and actually looks have decent if you have to wear them for non-running purposes. Only major complaint is how quickly they tend to tear in the uppers, and how quickly the treads degrade. Shoe is also kind of expensive.
