Racing and Workout Flat

RunnerSam · Oct 16, 2018

5/5

Overall

Only my second pair of flats but I have had a great experience with this shoe. I have owned them for one year and done almost every interval workout, tempo, and race in them. Workourts encompassing 200s to 3x3mi to 10kTempo. Races were 2xHM 2x10M, 4x1mi, 7x5k, and 2x5mi. Totaling around 300 miles with no indication I will need to retire them anytime soon. They were probably not enough suppoer for the hilly HM (feet hurt) but I had no issues with the other races and workouts. I set PRs in every race distance mentioned above but the 5 Milers in these shoes. -RunnerSam

Great look and feel, low durability.

Love this shoe for speedwork and casual wear, very light and aesthetically appealing. Upper came detached after 200 miles.

Perfect Shoe

slowmsrunner · Jul 2, 2018

5/5

Overall

This shoe for me is literally as good as it gets. The fabric on the upper stretches out and has a sock-life fit, accommodating many foot shapes. The toebox is wide and the whole shoe is well-shaped, being even more comfortable than Altra's without even looking like clown shoes. The shoe is really lightweight and looks good on feet, making it even suitable for casual wear. The only downsides of it are that it's a racing flat so it's not the most durable (lasted 300 Miles for me), and it's a racing flat so there isn't as much cushioning as most people would like (though I did run mileage in this shoe). I wore this shoe before my first XC season, inevitably getting crucified by my coach for training in racing flats. Overall, the absolute best shoe I have ever worn. 10/10 would recommend.

Best training/racing flat ever

Overall

I bought these shoes 4 months ago, and have raced one road 5K in them, as well as done a few track workouts in them, they are holding up well and are the perfect balance for a fast trainer to use on the track instead of spikes.

Great shoe but has some flaws.

owenpk4120 · Feb 6, 2018

Overall

While this shoe fits great and is comfortable, I wish it had a little more cushioning. I used it as a daily trainer and would really feel rocks and roots while running on trails. They only held up for around 200 miles until the outdoor ripped.
