What runners say

“The upper is almost like fishing net and is so thin it lacks the security and lockdown to hold my foot steady to the spike around any curvature at high speeds.”
Eaton Wright 4/5 Full review
“Going around turns in the 800m they almost felt as though my foot was sliding out.”
Eaton Wright 4/5 Full review
“Size down half a size (if you are US 10.5, take US 10) for normal fit.”
NotRadio 3/5 Full review
“The lack of cushioning is also a higher injury risk; this spike really should not be used for over 1 mile of racing as it begins to pound on your feet and lower legs.”
Eaton Wright 4/5 Full review
“They aren't durable; I ran through 3 pairs from November to July.”

“Provides a quick, bungie-like ride, making you stay on your toes and push for a PR.”

“Really fast on the straights but unstable when cornering.”
NotRadio 3/5 Full review
“After about a season (3 months and 15 track meets), they are starting to fall apart.”

“If you heel or even mid-foot strike, the energy return (due to the plate only being half-length and in the front) simply lacks.”
Eaton Wright 4/5 Full review

Best Middle Distance Spike Out There

Running in the Air Zoom Victory is the perfect matching of a sprint and distance spike. It is so poppy and fun to run in.

Unstable Spikes (when cornering)

NotRadio · Oct 14, 2023

3/5

Overall

Really fast on the straights but unstable af when cornering. A lot of effort required to maintain stability underfoot while cornering. Running form need to be pretty good to handle this spikes.

Durability is quite ass. Also half size down (if you are US10.5, take US10) for normal fit.

Best Spikes For 800m/1500m

Anonymous runner · Jul 31, 2023

5/5

Overall

I’ve used these spikes for everything from a 400m race to a 3k, and I would set the upper limit at 1500, and wouldn’t recommend them for a 400m unless you are slower than ~0:58, because they aren’t meant for insane speed. The carbon fiber plate helps a lot, and feels very energy efficient in a fast 800.
