First Running Shoe

4/5

Overall

I decided to do long distance at the beginning of sophomore year and since I didn't know how it'd go I wanted to buy a shoe that was all around, for racing and training. The Flex Fury 2 has suited me well it was light and not really noticeable when worn. It has a very breathable mesh outside with a porous fabric lining and cushioning in between the two layers, after runs my feet are slightly damp but I've never noticed it during a run. It has a lot of spring to it and the sole is mostly foam with a cool kind of pressure map of your foot going from white to red to black in the color I got; the black is hard grippy rubber for more traction. Overall I've loved these shoes and they've lasted me through XC and winter track season and currently into the spring season.
