5/5

Overall

With a secure, sock-like fit and a firm but responsivemis sole, the flyknit racer has become the shoe of choice for me for anything from easy runs to tempo runs. The response from the shoe far exceeds that of similar Nike models including the LunaRacer and the Nike Free series, allowing for a very enjoyable run when each step feels like it's going further. The flyknit upper lives up to all the acclaim and attention it has been given. Firstly, it is able to keep your foot bounded to the sole when performing quick turns or lateral movements which makes it a great shoe for track days. Secondly, the lightness and thickness of the upper is as good as or exceeds those of other racing flats. It also looks brilliant! Running in the flyknit racer has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience, however, a word of caution would be that you 'knit' to wear socks in these guys or else blisters will come in the dozens! (pun intended)
