Comfortable neutral trainer

runhaags · Oct 25, 2019

4/5

Overall

As with all Nike Free versions, this shoe has very little support. For me, this is a plus. The primary difference I notice between this version and the one before it is that the upper is a bit more stretchy. This makes it more comfortable but also makes it more difficult to run fast. If I'm trying to do a tempo but don't want to wear flats I go with the previous version, but these are my go-to for recovery and easy runs.

Great Shoe

I used these shoes for practice during track season and they were great. Very comfortable, they kind of form into the shape of your foot which is great. They are super light so you don’t feel heavy footed while running. Overall it’s a pretty great shoe!

Been running in Nike Frees for a while. My only issue with them is how many rocks get stuck in the bottom of my shoes

Great on various terrain of Maui

I have had great use with this shoes on trail, sand, and roads. The series has been my shoe of choice for the last few years. I wear through them quickly, running 30 - 50 miles a week. And I also use them on the track for workouts from 200m to 1600m repeats.

Going With The Past

Anonymous runner · Feb 8, 2018

Overall

With flat feet I've always felt that the Nike Free has forced me to focus on my form. Have essentially taken off from regular running for about 5 years and after a few short forays with other shoes have decided to go back to what I've enjoyed. Trying to be careful as I weigh more than I used to. So far the fit feels great and my feet are only slightly achy after snowy or technical trails but otherwise feel good. Holding up well at 350 miles right now.
