Enjoyed them thus far

Overall

I am a D1 collegiate runner who ran in Brooks and Hoka all throughout high school. When I found out I would have to run in Nikes, I was pretty pissed off to be honest. I went to the local Fleet Feet and tried on the Pegasus 35, Vomero 13, and the Structure 22 and HATED all of them. They all had bumps in the strangest places. The last shoe they brought out was the Odyssey React. When I put it on, it felt the exact same as the Brooks Levitates I had worn before. The only difference was that the Odyssey Reacts were a much lighter and cheaper shoe After about 150 miles in them (50-60 MPW average), I have no complaints. I even did a 15 mile long run in them and the only blister I got was because I wore ankle socks that were too low (my fault). Just did a workout in them today that totaled 11 miles and they gave me no problems whatsoever. Can't wait for many more runs in them.

The TRUST about Odyssey React's

Anonymous runner · Jul 3, 2019

Overall

I got these shoes on sale for just over $80 ( they seemed to be on sale for the majority of their time available). I thought they looked pretty sharp for running. The olasted be about 550 miles before I decided to put them down. I could have ran them to probably 700 if I used them only for shorter shakeouts or short trail runs. I did most of my long runs in these shoes and they (10-16mi) and they worked just fine for them. I even did some of my longer tempo runs in them. Overall: Versatile shoe that is durable, extremely comfortable, and is affordable.

Springy!

Desert Rat · Sep 20, 2018

4/5

Overall

The Odyssey React delivers on its promise to give a responsive and springy ride. The soles are cushioned, and super reactive in both the forefront and heel. I love the ride of this shoe. It is light, responsive, and quiet on the road. The only thing negative I can say about this shoe is that the full surround collar (almost like a neoprene sock) can be a little warm and snug, and the toe box is a little shallow. I have about 100 miles on this shoe so far with few complaints. I rated the durability a little lower because the heel grip around the achilles is showing a little wear on my pair, and the upper material is showing some creasing on the toe box. They are not the most attractive shoe I have owned, but I'll gladly sacrifice flashy colors and bling for the bouncy and reactive ride these give. The ride is similar to the Brooks Levitate, but the shoe fit is a bit less structured, and the Odyssey React is lighter. I bought these as a replacement for a complete shoe failure for me (Mizuno Wave Inspire 14). I had previously owned and liked a Brooks Levitate, so the Odyssey React was a good choice. If you like the ride of the Levitate, you will probably like the ride of this shoe. If you like the structure of the Mizuno (which I found clumsy and clompy), then this is not the shoe for you.

Solid Shoe

Really wanted to love the epic reacts but they were just too tight on the top of my foot, so I gave these a try. Definitely satisfied with my choice, very comfortable shoe.
