Overall

Love how they fit and feel...not the lightest but more than good enough. Absolutely love the nubbies on the sole...no slipping at all. Don't understand why so many running shoes are almost all smooth tread..even in light rain I'll slip on smooth sidewalks or paths...but not with Nike Kigers. You ask for average pace...not a very clear question. If I'm doing intervals 7 min, if tempo 9, if easy 11-12

Durable yet responsive with low drop

Overall

React foam provides excellent underfoot feel with good responsiveness that appears to be holding up well. Only Nike shoe, which has a great look, with a low drop. Outsole provides good traction on the trail. Only main downsides are it is slightly on the heavier side and is somewhat pricier, though thigh prices are common in all shoes nowadays.
