Before trying this shoe, I was using standard trainers and flats for my workouts such as Adizero Adios 5 and Nike Pegasus. Using this shoe is like an assist. You literally can run alot faster in this pair due to the new generation foam and the plate. Bought a year or two ago and this pair is still alive and kicking. So high durability too.
My 800m repeats dropped around 5-10s per rep and I feel fresher on the last reps as compared to my previous shoes. I was able to handle an extra 2-4km extra on my steady paced runs averaging at 6:40mins/mile.
At this point (2 year on), my pair has accumulated a total mileage of roughly 600 miles with aesthetic issues on the foam not covered by the outsole. The carbon outsole rubber feels smooth to the touch and still provide decent traction when training on road/pavement/track surfaces on both dry and wet days.
This pair is a viable option for purchase if you are planning to use them for training (workouts, tempos, long runs etc.). If compared to the Vaporfly 2, the Endorphin Speed lacks the aggressiveness and feel slightly unstable in comparison when cornering.
