Top fast pace trainer

Overall

If you had to have only one pair of running shoes, Razor is the type you would want. Super light, durable, little cushion, but also responsive, fast and comfortable. Except the looks Razor is perfect. The shoe surprises me every time I wear it. For me I use it for my long runs and road tempo type workouts. I find them too soft for the track. But sometimes when I want something comfortable I wear them for an easy jog too. The other negative about the shoe is sizing. I'm 12 in most, sometimes 12.5, but Razor 12 was almost too big for me. However, Ride 7 felt small in 12 even thought they're both Skechers. I've 400 miles on the shoe, and it looks like new. Razor 2 is on the way, so I'll report on that soon (Now you can buy them for $50; I bought my current Razor at a mall for $25!)

Overall

Can't see myself running long distances in this. The toebox gets a little tight, and it just doesn't seem super durable. But I've done some faster (tempoish strides and stuff) on the track and I bike with them so I dig em.

Overall

I use these shoes primarily for tempo runs and some track workouts. They are a little loose in the toebox for me, but they are very light weight and light cushioned, so you don't feel like you're losing speed with squishy cushioning. And I picked them up for $60 which is a great value for a shoe of this quality.
