Thin soled and flexible. Topo really nailed it. Some other models are too stiff but this is excellent.

I purchased the ST-2 after a great year in the ST. It is super flexible for my rigid feet. Only negative is if you need to jump on a trail for a bit, you are likely to feel the rocks underfoot.

Overall

Feet are well locked down but good room for toe splay. I find better than altras in that regard. Looks are pretty average. No rockplate (good ground feel). Grip average. Cushioning a bit spongy - does not feel that responsive. I like them but do not love them

Solid shoes, but have very little cushioning, which is great unless you are doing a lot of road running like I was. These are solid shoes and I would recommend them to anyone who wants 0 drop shoes with minimal cushioning.

Roomy toe box Secure midfoot Lightweight Zero drop Great speedwork trainers or race day shoes Would benefit from TPU midsole. EVA feels dead compared to Altra Escalante, Saucony Freedom, and Adidas Boost.
