The ST-4 is my go-to all purpose shoe

Overall

The ST-4 is zero drop, light-weight, durable, and comfortable to run in. I have several pairs that I rotate through, and after years of rotating between as many as a dozen shoes at a time, nowadays I basically rotate between a few pairs of ST-4s. Shoes with cushion now feel too thick. Other light weight shoes like the Xeros feel way too light. Though cushion is minimal there feels like just enough cushion to support your running. The soles also haven't worn out or cracked much after a couple years of regular use.
