Good shoe, but needs some fixes

Overall

Under Armour is the company that supplies our college team with gear, so I tried giving these a shot. As someone who overpronates, these stability shoes assist with that. However, they really aren't great for high mileage running and can make my feet very sore. Have not had any severe injuries because of these shoes, which is a good aspect of it. I primarily use them for speed workouts and shorter easy runs.

Overall

Under Armour is definitely not looked at as a running shoe company given its huge investment in football or any other sport with a ball. Though now that I have to wear them for the school I am at I can say Under Armour is giving running a serious try. UA has made leaps in their shoe designs and I know they will only get better in the future in order to contend with Adidas, Asics and maybe even Nike. Now the Europa line actually old up well for distance running. Its similar to a Nike structure but doesn't overdo the support in the shoe. There are guys on them team that wear these for 100+ mile weeks and myself doing 80 miles a week in them with out any foot or lower leg injuries. The cushioning is honestly my favorite part of these, especially since they are a structure shoe. They feel almost pillow like with how soft the ride it but you still feel supported. Now my only quarrel with the Europa is the lace design and the overall aesthetic. The shoes don't lace up as comfortably as other shoes and leaves room for some more hug around the upper portion. The look of the shoe should get better in time once UA gets the functionality down first but in the end the look of the shoe doesn't matter much, its what you do in them that counts.

Overall

Great overall cushioned daily trainer. The upper had an intersting design, the tonuge worked surprisingly well, however, the collar definitely needed more padding, dug into the ankles a bit at the beginning of runs.

Overall a good, non-bulky alternative in the stability shoe market. I'm a forefoot striker who gently overpronates and this shoe puts my foot in a nice position.
