Overall

First off, I normally order a shoe size larger (9.5) than my foot measures (8.5)to allow room for foot expansions during runs. With the Adidas running shoes, I find that I should only go up a *half size only* (9). Adidas shoes seem to be cut a half size larger than most shoes. I have fairly flat feet and use a 3/4 custom orthotic inserts for some overpronation. For years I had gone with Brooks Adrenalines with no issues, but I tired of the colorway options. The Adidas Supernova ST work equally well for me but they are offered in more interesting colorways. The fit is similar (after the half size adjustment) and the cushion and quality are right on par.

Great daily trainer even if it's a bit on the heavy side. I have close to 600 miles on them and they barely show any wear on the outsole and the midsole still has quite a bit of spring to it.

Not your traditional stability shoe!

Overall

I previously wore the Glide Boost 8, but the ST was a big step up. It lacks many traditional stability shoe elements like poles, but still offers plenty of stability from the cage formed by the signature "three stripes". I got a little over 500 miles out of them, and while I'm light I have a high cadence and slightly overpronate which caused some wear to the outside tread of the shoe. The rest of the outsole held up very nicely. The Boost itself looked pretty good, although I noticed a definite springiness in the pair of Supernova Ms I got to replace these that had been lacking in my final 100 miles or so. The insoles took a serious beating, and it would be worth replacing them early as they are nearly useless. These shoes also demonstrated an ability to go faster, as I used them for long runs that averaged 6:30/mi where the pace dropped below 6:00/mi for the closing few miles. Overall, I'd definitely recommend them, but I thought the 2nd generation Supernova M was even better,

Comfy but a bit clunky

Overall

Comfy feel when I step in, but stiff and not very responsive. Good support for days after workouts when you are running slow and easy and want a bit of extra support due to fatigue.
