Overall
The HOKA Rincon 4 is a good shoe, i just recently finished a long run fartlek in them and they felt amazing. However they get scuffed pretty easily

The shoe reminds me of shoes from 10-15 years ago, and for me that's not a bad thing as I don't get along overly squishy high stack shoes. The shoes are protective and cushioned but not squishy. The shoe lacks a little flexibility because the outsole is so thick, but it does loosen up in time. The midsole is cushioned but as standard compression molded EVA isn't the overly soft and not very durable nitrogen infused foam that's so popular today. The shoe also has a low but sturdy heel cup. It's a great show especially at the $99 I found it for.
