Versatile, but the sole degrades quickly

Anonymous runner · Nov 15, 2024

5/5

Overall

Good mix of cushioning and speed, so a great all-around shoe for most training runs, from long runs to tempo runs and faster intervals. I’ll use it for long runs for the first 50-75 miles, then for tempo runs for a few hundred miles, then for short easy runs before retiring it to a walking and weight room shoe. Like the previous iterations of the ribbon, the sole wears out quickly, but it is also cheaper than many comparable shoes.   I pronate, but I wear custom orthotics, so wearing this neutral shoe hasn’t caused any problems.

Pretty decent if you’ve run hokas before, but the tongue bleeds into your sock which is lame.

Go to daily trainer

Anonymous runner · Dec 22, 2023

Overall

The rincon 3 is my go to daily trainer . It’s lightweight and durable . Only complaint is it does seem to loose cushioning faster than I’d like. The rest of the shoe holds up great and still looks good after the cushion is long gone . I usually run in them around 400 plus miles but the cushion is gone well before then.
