This shoe is amazing. Super lightweight yet well cushioned. When I wear it I shave off about 20 seconds per mile on my run compared to wearing other shoes.

The one I've been waiting on.

Overall

My feet are Nike snobs. There's no way around it. I've tried a load of brands since I started running in 2015, and I just keep falling back to the Pegasus line. That's not a bad thing, but part of me as always wanted to venture out and see what's better. Nevertheless, I have had my eyes on the Turbo edition of the Pegasus since it came out. I have the VaporFly 4% as my marathon shoe, and Pegasus 33-35s as my daily trainer. The Turbo 2 takes the best of both and turns the experience into a ride worth talking about all day. If you run in the VaporFlys, you'll immediately recognize the ZoomX foam feel when you step into the Turbo 2s. They have that bounce that specific to the ZoomX shoes. You also feel that pop of the react foam within the first few strides. The build is very familiar to the regular Pegasus line. The outsole is basically the same. The upper is breathable, and I haven't noticed any hot spots. It has been a comfortable ride. My one dislike is the tongue. It has no form, so it has gotten folded up on each of the runs I've taken in it. Maybe I need to adjust the way I'm tying them, but I haven't found a fix to that yet. As a side note, I think I mistakenly got them early. Fleet Feet told me they couldn't sell them until July 11th, but Rogue Running in Austin sold them to me on the 6th. Oh well. All sales final ;)

Overall

I love this shoe. I have run in nearly every brand over the past 37 years and this is the most comfortable training shoe I have ever worn. Great cushioning. Light weight. Good stability. Comfortable upper. My only complaint is that the sole wears down relatively quickly (~150 miles).
