Zoom Streak LT4

Overall

I know its a racer, but for some reason they are the most comfortable shoes I've run in. I have about 250 miles on them and they still feel great. I use them for all types of runs as my foot strike and glide feel more natural in these shoes. I have the Pegasus 35 and they are fine but a little bulky and slow for me, they are reserved for lazy days.

Your staple lightweight workout shoe

This shoe and its predecessors have been my go to workout shoe for most of my career. It's not as aggressive as a spike and is good for those long track workouts, tempos and xc workouts. I never really use them on the roads except for once a year in an xc race that is mostly paved path. Can't complain about the durability, I used to always rip out the lateral side but in this one I haven't done that so i can get more out of the shoe. Not a fan of the $90 price tag, much more desirable and worth it when they were $65. There is no fancy technology in it like with the vapor/zoom fly so i don't think $90 is worth it but i love the shoe so I pay it. Overall a great workout shoe that you could race in if you don't want to go to spikes.

Worse than the lt 3

Overall

I used the LT 3 as a daily trainer and went through three pairs. The worst one lasted 200 miles, the best almost 400. But when the LT 4 came out, I bought two pairs, only to be disappointed. Nike decided to make the shoe narrower (and $10 more), so I broke through the single-layer upper on both pairs after about 120 miles on each. It still is a great racing flat, but no longer is usable as a trainer for me.

Overall

I enjoyed racing in this shoe on the roads from 1 mile to 5km. I wouldn't recommend running to much further in these as they lack too much cushioning but are good for these distances. Can also be used for fast track sessions too

Great Speed Shoe

The Nike Zoom Streak LT 4 is a great addition to the Nike streak series. This shoe is a great speed trainer with its light frame and TPU shank to propel. The movement of the swoosh may seem to only be to match the fabled VaporFly 4% but it also increases durability and lowers the risk of a tearing a blowout through the thin flymesh. The cushion is very little with less than 1/2 inch of lunarlon foam but this is because the show is made for speed not comfort. Each step I took felt like my foot was bare yet protected. For $90 this shoe is great for a speedster on a budget. Light as a feather fast as a jet and just plain cool looking Nike Zoom Streak LT4 is another fast shoe for fast people.
