I used this shoe for mainly 1600m races and noticed that it felt amazing when I was doing 62s to 66s but slower than that felt clunky in this shoe. I tried it for an 800 but it didn’t feel right at 60s for me and similarly in a 3200 the 74s felt strange in a shoe that really wants to go faster.

Superior cushion to the dragonfly, the plate feels more responsive and propulsive. Not as harsh of a plate as on other spikes, and combined with the superfoam, it a 58 split in a workout in a 400m feels so easy. This spike has a traditional fit, and really feels nice with my feet.

This shoe is essentially the dragonfly that fits your foot better and is more explosive, if you need a spike for 1500-5k and have a more aggressive running style this is the one for you.

Best spike on the market currently, the upper feels very dialed in and the lockdown is great. The ride is fantastic, you feel the shoe compress slightly and then pop off the ground. The responsive is next level.
