Overall

The shoe honestly looks like a bowling shoe, and overall, I'm not a huge fan of the appearance. However, it's a great minimalist shoe. Emphasis on minimalist. The midsole, if there is one in this shoe, is simply a bit of fabric so that your foot doesn't rub on the rubber of the shoe sole. For me, I enjoy that. It gives a great feel for the road surface. Plenty of room for my wide forefoot, and very durable. The shoe is very durable, and stands up to a lot of wear and tear. The fact that it's all leather is unique, and a bit weird to break in, but after that, they fit like a glove. The reflective element designed into the upper is very effective and makes them quite visible at night.

Overall

New favorite running shoe. I use it for my training runs and races up to marathon distance. My current pair has over 200 miles and shows very little wear. I anticipate them to last at least 400+ miles. Many other brands I have run in have split along the upper and sole on the outside of my foot. The Cores haven't even weakened on that area.

Overall

This is my first minimalist shoe and they are amazing. My only shoes where I don't feel any leg pain even in long distance runs. The leather is so comfortable it becomes one with your feet. It is also durable and I love it's 360 reflectivity. Great running shoes than can hybrid from trail, road even snow. I used it for 5Ks all the way to ultra distances, never looking back to other brands ever.
