Don’t wanna get injured, transition slowly

Anonymous runner · Sep 19, 2023

5/5

Overall

After being injury prone for many years, with knee, hip, and back problems, I decided that I would give barefoot running a try. 3 years later, after a looooong transition, I’m running faster, and more injury free than I did, even in my college days.

Great for short runs

I don’t have the foot strength to use these on long runs but for under 5 miles (Or amphitheater workouts at Red Rocks) these are great.

Excellent barefoot shoe with some variability in quality

lm845 · Oct 6, 2018

4/5

Overall

This is my favorite barefoot running. Excellent for running on trails and road. I've run trail races up to half-marathon in these. I've been through multiple pairs; some pairs are manufactured well. Others are crap, with flaws in the toes, particularly. I've had to glue some back together. Recognize that all Vibrams run small. I wear size 8, but wear 39s in Vibram. Note: Vibram typically stops men's sizes at 40, so shopping for small shoes means looking at women's shoes, often with limited masculine colors.

I like it. I use it for all of my speed work and tempo runs. The furthest I have ran in them was a half marathon in Hamilton, Ont.
