Best shoe I have worn for cushioning and stability

Overall
The Asics Kayano is a great shoe! I used to run in another shoe- (hint, it was a real Beast) for over a decade until I felt that there was an decreasing level of q.c. I became very frustrated especially these were very expensive. I am on that heavier side (around 220 lbs.) and I definitely have an overpronation problem (flat feet). I read many reviews and decided on the Asics Kayano as the reviewers almost all agreed that the cushioning was superior to almost everything else out there whilst retaining good/excellent stability. I have been using these for at least 7-8 years and I absolutely love them. I am an older runner and have most of my running on treadmills for maybe the last 15 years. The styling is nice and I receive unexpected compliments from strangers. I noticed that a lot of nurses etc. crave shoes offering comfort and stability and I have been asked how stable my Asics were. They are a little on the expensive side but when possible I purchase them on base at the PX as I am an Army veteran. I don't think that I will ever change brands.
