Go-to trainer for YEARS

TRN24 · Sep 28, 2025

5/5

Overall

I've been doing the bulk of my training in Asics Kayanos for about 6-7 years.  I can get 400-500 miles out of each pair.  The cushioning is the best I've ever experienced in a marathon training shoe.  I have narrow-ish feet, a medium arch.  I am a heel striker and I pronate.  These shoes work very well for me.

Good solid stable and cushioned show in the tradition of the line, especially being a last year model I purchased on discount this year.

Great shoe but expensive

Was suffering with ankle pain as I prepared for my first marathon. These shoes got me through the marathon pain free thankfully. Expensive though so difficult to buy on a regular basis.

Been running in Kayano’s for 20 years-these are the best version yet

Anonymous runner · Sep 28, 2025

Overall

I like this version overs the 28-29’s. I have been wearing Kayanos mostly for the last 18-20 years, they just seem to work for me.I tried the SuperBlast and loved them until my knee started giving me problems.  I like the cushioning and I pronate so the stabiltity is good.

At first I thought, why do they change shoes that I like. Then I tried them and I love the new version
