Good shoe but got worst during the developments. Started with this shoe in 11 and feels like it got worst as new version came out.

Overall

Great trainer for serious runners looking for a lightweight trainer with a little bit of support. These shoes are great for long runs, workouts, or anything in between really. The Asics DS Trainer 15 was by far the best model of this shoe and I've definitely not liked the last few updates (ex. the heel). I know they've done away with the heel cup in the newer model so hopefully Asics is smartening up. Also the durability is a slight issue. I typically only get 300-350 miles, mostly on the roads, out of these shoes before I start "feeling" the wear a little bit (and I'm only 5'10" 150 lbs so not a very big runner). Besides that, great all around shoe.

I've always loved the old DS Trainer's separated heel and front upper. Sadly, this went away with the 18th edition of the shoe, so I've been running on a small stockpile since they stopped being manufactured.
