My Go-To Shoe for Ten Years

Anonymous runner · Jul 24, 2018

5/5

Overall

After dealing with severe plantar fasciitis throughout high school cross country and track seasons, I made the switch to Brooks Adrenaline and haven't had an injury since. Throughout cross country in college and beyond, Adrenalines have provided me with enough stability and cushion to train upwards of 70 mile weeks without breaking down. My only complaint is that, unlike other running shoes, I would never wear Adrenalines with casual clothes, such as while traveling, because they're pretty consistently unattractive shoes.

Most reliable pair of support shoes. They have gone downhill since the 14 (IMO) AND THE 14 have given the best bang for buck. Long lasting and comfortable.

I've been wearing it for 6 years now. Great, quality shoe to provide support for pronation. Have had some arch pain issues in them however.

Overall

The brooks adrenaline is my go to training shoe. Ive used Nike Lunarglides every now and then just to switch things up but the adrenaline last so much longer for me which is the biggest plus. its not super light or anything like that and looks very basic but is an overall solid shoe that i fall back on time and time again.
