Not a bad minimalist trail running shoe

Overall

It's a pretty durable minimalist option for trails and hiking. It holds up fairly well to roots and rocks. If you're on sand, expect it to seep into the mesh and into your socks. It's zero-drop, so know that it will give you a decent minimalist feel. I took a thorn through the bottom once, so don't expect too much protection from below. Overall, a bad option, if a bit overpriced for what you get. If given a choice, I'd always choose the Merrell Trail Glove over the Minimus.
