Great feeling shoe! Does everything I want it to. Light, runs fast, great cushioning without being bogged down! Doesn’t look like it has much tread on there but you do. That tread grabs hard! My favorite up to date and I have the Next% too!

Fast, springy foam cushioning, smaller toebox

Anonymous runner · Jan 1, 2020

Overall

Wonderful ride with their new foam cushioning. Definitely a shoe to help achieve faster running times with good comfort except for less toebox space (inserting another insole makes the toe space too small; cannot remove the shoe's insole that is glued in. Compromised by adding a hindfoot lift/stabilizer). Exposed foam on the sole makes this likely to wear down sooner but it has held up well for my last 3 races (5K - Half marathon). Would buy these again.

Versatile Performance Trainer/Racer

Anonymous runner · Dec 30, 2019

Overall

I was worried about the shoe when I heard it was softer feel than its predecessor, which made for a great interval/tempo/race day option through my spring Half Marathon. The fit is unisex, which works well for my slender foot and I was able to stick with the same size as I did with the Razor 2. The cushioning is very protective and worked well for me over the 26.2 distance this fall. I'm currently around 175 miles in and feel like I can easily take it to 250-300 before retiring them. The tread is rather thin but the shoe still has great grip on wet surfaces and the rubber is highly durable. If you're looking to use the shoe for a longer race (10-Mile, 13.1, 26.2) it still has the durability to get those longer training runs in and not just be held for a "race day only" option.

Satisfied Skechers customer

Overall

The Razor 3 appears to be a nearly flawless masterpiece. It’s wicked light, propulsive, bouncy, protective, and comfortable. The upper breathes well and I was surprised that the shoe for me is spacious - feels tapered with the heel being a more dialed fit out to a more open midfoot and forefoot. The upper seems like it will be durable and the overlays are not intrusive in any way. The toebox is a bit low, but I’ve experienced no irritation because of it. The tongue is thin, but soft and stays put. and the laces stay tied. Outsole rubber is very sticky but with slim coverage and a softer rubber, I’m not expecting great things there. The gray and black colorway with the blue and yellow accents looks sharp though I could do without the “speed” accent. Overall solid 9/10 for me.
