As recovery becomes more and more of a focus for runners of all mileages as a community we are quick to jump on something that is branded to improve recovery. I was quick to jump on the hype train myself but was pleasantly surprised when I received my slides. I've heard everything from they look like moon shoes to they look like shoes for a geriatric, however one commonality was that everyone said they looked comfortable. Over time as I kind of sunk into them they became more and more comfortable. I'm under the impression that as your feet warm up the foam you sink into to it and it almost forms to the bottom of your foot. Great for after any type of run and better for you then walking around barefoot. Even Adidas pro Sam parsons be spotted sporting them occasionally...
