Happy To Be Back in Cliftons

My previous Cliftons were fine but this is a welcome improvement over the previous version and an ideal long/recovery run shoe for me. The switch to an 8mm drop and the new foam is perfect for my running style and will hopefully prevent the leg issues that hindered my running mileage in the past. They are a wee bit on the heavy side but not planning on racing these and after my first 7 mile run in the 10s, I am sold on them; I didn't need a day of recovery and was ready to go the following day. I was running in Bondi 8s prior to this, and they were a great walking shoe that never quite worked for me as a trainer. These just work with my feet and make me feel like I can run all day in them.

Overall

Slightly narrower fit than the Clifton 9, on the foot feels like a slightly taller stack height, too. Still tons of great cushioning. I do a lot of gravel road running, and these Cliftons eat gravel roads for lunch.
