Adidas Adios 3 - The marathon champ

Anonymous runner · Jul 20, 2018

4/5

Overall

I have been wearing the Adios series of shoes since I have started running seriously. It has always been my go-to shoes for both training and marathon races since. The comfort level of the shoes was brought to a new level after the introduction of the Boost in its second edition. Durability has never been an issue even, lasting up to one year over a consistent 70km weekly mileage. The only drawback is it’s weight relative to some newer competitors. Looking forward to the 4th iteration of adios.

Most durable and best all-around shoes!

Overall

I have worn Adios Adizeros 1, 2 and 3. Each one lived up to 1000 miles. I used them for daily runs as well as marathon race. It is responsive yet not too firm. Never caused any issues, no runners' nails after race. I did feel that the toebox of 3 is slightly lower than 1 and 2.

Quality uptempo training and racing shoe

Overall

Very impressed with these. Good comfort when I get going, and there's enough sole cushioning to support hilly road races (up to 30km). Ventilation is excellent for summer, and the feel is lightweight. Outsole wear after 300km is minimal, and I like the simple old-school upper design.

Perfect shoe

Overall

Love this shoe, the contact with the group is superb. The design is great and it is a very fast shoe. The weight is a big plus but there is one slight minus because the sole is very quickly done. Ive to pair which i switch every training and I can run on these for about 3 max 4 months. But overall is this shoe very good
