Prototypical Road Race Shoe

Anonymous runner · Apr 22, 2018

5/5

Overall

I don't do marathons but these are basically perfect for 10k to the half, and I use them for speedwork. Nothing weird, just fast, light road shoe shape like the old cubato....flexible sole and good for high arches. If I could just have 2 shoes it would be this and Boston.

Adidas Adios-Great Race Shoe

SYNYC · Feb 7, 2018

5/5

Overall

The Adidas Adios Boost is an awesome road racing shoe for distances up to half marathon. I have worn it in a variety of race distances and it has always performed superbly. It is light and fast-feeling, yet still always feels stable and secure underfoot. I never feel like I have to worry that it's going to cause me a problem. It always seems to contribute to the effort. The fit is not quite perfect for my slightly wide forefoot, but never to the point of that becoming a problem. The shoe's high price is definitely a drawback, but since I only wear them for races and maybe a few key workouts in a training cycle, they last a long time so I tolerate the price.

Superb racing shoe

Feels fantastic, responsive. Easy to run on them. Prefer them to the old Adios', they're less stiffer and lower to the ground.
