Asics shoe for training to run naturally

Anonymous runner · May 31, 2023

4/5

Overall

This shoe is neutral and simple. The cushioning is modest. This shoe allows you to feel the ground and become in touch with your form. It works well on trails too. It is not a racer. It is comfortable and conforms well to the foot. It does not last long. I've managed to get ~250 miles of asphalt road running averaged over three pairs.

I like light the show is and how roomy the toe box is. I bought 4 within the last year.

Great, lightweight show. Feels really good on my feet. The upper is squishy but grips my foot well. Feels like I'm slipping on a glove. Low heel-toe drop makes this run more like a racing flat. I've enjoyed it immensely.

Overall

Starting using the Gel-Lyte 33 since the first version. Honestly a great all around training shoe because it has good cushion, a low heel drop, light and breathable. The first is very relaxed and each one has evolved a little. I still think my favorite feel was the the first generation, but this is a great shoe for long runs or fast repeats even.
