Overall

Very good show. Lots of support. Have been running in this shoe for years, and the GT-2140 for years before that. Have branched out at times, but I often get injured when I do. That said, I tend to get injured a lot, even in these shoes.

Best stability shoe on the market. I have run 6 marathons in the GT-2100 series. Most other brands for overpronators are heavy and clunky. The uppers are lightweight on the Asics GT-2170.

Overall

Started out by going to a running specialty store where they recommended me this model, and then stuck to it afterwards since they were available at bigger chain stores. Comfortably lasts for about 500 miles of running. I have a relatively flat feet and thus tend to need more support.
