Overall

Super comfortable from recovery days to tempo days. Fits the shape of my foot very well. The foam feels great; soft when slow, responsive when faster. I've only put 80 miles on them so far, so hard to judge longevity. From the outside, it looks like the foam wears out quickly, but I've heard that they quickly look worn but the foam itself is fine. Thats how it feels to me so far.

Decent shoe, kind of expensive

Pegasus 35 is the trophy shoe of Nike, but the turbo is their attempt to make it more comfortable and speed-ready. Although the cushioning is there, the comfort is slightly lacking. At first they’re stiff, but take time to break in. Once they’re broken in there is a window for optimal comfort until they start to get too broken in and your feet begin to feel it more and more. You can run fast and get that nice feeling of wearing a slightly plush shoe that doesn’t weigh too much but the problem of comfort begins to roll on over time. The price is probably the worst part of the shoe. The Pegasus 35 Turbo is $180 USD and by no means should be. The performance of the shoe does not reflect a price this high. Of course there’s a reason for this price because of the technology put into this shoe and the time to do so, but it’s just way too much for what the shoe actually offers you during each run.

Great shoe

I have put about 60 miles on this shoe so far and am very impressed. It is cushioned and not overly responsive in my opinion. But I love this shoe as a daily, high-mileage trainer. It rides best on pavement, and I would not recommend it for trails. My first few runs in this shoe were not what I would consider ideal. I thought the shoe was too cushioned and lacked the responsiveness for tempo-type efforts like Nike advertised. However, when I accepted that this shoe is more of a daily, 7 min pace type shoe, I really grew to love it. The Turbo is butter soft, and your legs will love you grinding out those 20 mile long runs. I gave the shoe 8 stars for durability because after 60 miles they aren’t showing any wear; but I have read reviews stating that the React and Zoom X layers tend to separate over time, so I am cautiously optimistic. I rotate these every other day with my Adidas Solar Boost and think they provide a very nice compliment to the more responsive boost foam. I’d reccomend the Adidas Adios for faster workouts and tempo runs but these for an everyday pavement trainer. You won’t regret your purchase if you give them a chance and accept that they are not the speed merchants they were advertised to be.

Better Product That Is Worth The Price

This is my new go-to trainer(.) The Pegasus Turbo should not be called a Pegasus, it just doesn't do it justice. Aside from the silhouette of the shoe there is nothing in common with the regular Pegasus 35. The upper of this shoe is much more plush than the regular Pegasus model. The react/zoomx midsole also sets this shoe apart from any other Nike shoe. The react/zoomx combination provides a responsive and well-cushioned ride like none other on the market. The design/color scheme on these shoes is also different than the Pegasus 35 and, in my opinion, the turbos look much more sleek and attractive. I personally have nothing I would change about them, however, a friend had his pair get snagged on some bushes while trail running and tear the upper slightly. On my pair however, no durability issues whatsoever. The price point is another place where you may be turned off, however, if you are serious about running, then paying the extra $50 for a premium product that is MUCH better than the original should be an easy decision to make.

Great Cushioning, Superior Ride, Pricey

Overall

This shoe feels great from the moment you put it on. It is light weight but very protective. Legs seem less fatigued after long runs. Have used it for 2 hour runs as well as shorter faster sessions. The cost is steep and one has to decide if it is worth the extra dollars beyond the Pegasus 35. This one Nike got right.
