So comfortable for running but expensive

Murad Durrani · Aug 11, 2023

4/5

Overall

The Nike ZoomX Streakfly undoubtedly stands out as a top-tier option in the realm of performance running shoes. While it boasts impressive comfort and advanced technology, its premium price tag may leave some potential buyers hesitant.
When it comes to comfort, the ZoomX Streakfly truly shines. The incorporation of Nike's innovative ZoomX cushioning technology provides an unparalleled level of responsiveness and energy return. This feature, coupled with the shoe's lightweight construction, makes it a perfect companion for long-distance runs or high-intensity training sessions. The cushioning not only absorbs impact effectively but also propels you forward, assisting in reducing fatigue during extended workouts.

Good Alternative to Spikes When Training

wanttobefaster23 · Aug 6, 2023

4/5

Overall

This shoe is the best option for High Intesity/Speed workouts other than spikes. The bonus is this shoe is much more comfortable and gentle on the feet than spikes, allowing you to keep on one shoe and run the whole workout without foot discomfort. While this shoe is good at sub 5 minute mile (3:07/km) I also find it good for slower repetitions as long as the goal is a workout. There are some cons with this shoe though. Firstly, the durability is not great due to the material this shoe is made out of. They are also not a stable shoe to do anything other than quicker efforts in, so I find that if I am lifting before my speed session, which I often do, I have to wear different shoes. Overall this shoe serves its purpose well, but is definitely not a daily trainer or a shoe for anything other than fast efforts.

At 6.0 oz, this shoe is a perfect 5k/10k shoes.  No carbon plate, but otherwise very quick.  smooth ride.  Looks great.  Not durable enough for training.
