Pros

  • Reviewers with wide feet praise the roomy toe box and the blister-free fit.
  • At 6.6 oz it feels fast, and reviewers race and do tempo work in it.
  • Comfort is the standout at 4.9 out of 5, and runners report no hot spots over long miles.

Cons

  • Uppers often rip before the midsole wears out, and durability averages 3.7 out of 5.
  • Appearance is much the weakest dimension at 3.4 out of 5, and four reviewers compare the toe box to a bowling shoe.
  • Two reviewers find the cushioning and traction thin, one with sore feet after 16-mile runs.

They don't feel like shoes!

5/5

Overall

I love this shoe, specifically the toe box! They are super comfy and my toes don't rub together and blister. I have no knee pain of any kind in these. They are super light and make me feel fast! CONS: They look a lot like clown shoes. I refused to wear them until my old ones broke down and my knees were hurting. I had an 8 miler to run, so I sucked it up and put them on. I've been racing in them ever since. Who cares if they're ugly when they make your feet feel great and you start setting pr's every time you put them on!

My go-to road shoe!

5/5

Overall

The one has been my go to road shoe for the past year! As a hobby jogger who was only running for a year before getting these shoes, I wasn't sure if I would be able to handle less cushion and zero drop but the transition was pretty seamless! The shoe has a wide platform, which is good for my oddly shaped right mid-foot, a super light and comfy upper (the toe guard on initial wear was off-putting but a non-issue once I started running), and soft and really comfortable cushioning that isn't too soft. In short, it's super light, comfy, doesn't give me hot spots or blisters, and for the price, lasts long enough for daily training and racing. My only negatives with the shoe are the appearance - they look like silly bowling shoes but it's grown on me over time - and upper durability. My first pair lasted about 650KM before the upper started to wear a hole through. A little gorilla tape and the shoe has gotten to 850KM and I feel I can still wear them today. My 2nd pair had a complete upper failure on the inside of my right foot around 425KM and my 3rd pair is holding up OK around the 350KM mark. So if you have a wide foot that protrudes out the side of the upper, then upper durability can be a concern, otherwise, given the low price point I've been getting these shoes at, they've been well worth the money. Can't see myself running in a different pair of road shoes - these shoes have all I want in them and have never cause me discomfort/blisters, etc, which a lot of shoes do for my oddly shaped right foot. If the fit works for you when you try these shoes on, you'll probably have a blast running in them! Highly recommended.
