Overall

Great trainer! Been in Cumulus since 2004 and they have been consistent from one model to the next in terms of size and feel. I average 400+ miles per pair, and I think rotation with 2nd pair as well as a pair of lightweight trainers for workouts/races help to extend the shoe life. I usually purchase online (RoadRunnerSports) but got my most recent pair from a local running store since I won a gift certificate in a local race. I even tried on a pair of Saucony Rides to see if I was missing anything. But when I put the new Cumulus on, it was like greeting an old friend. I've worn them in marathons, though over the years I've been able to transition to a lighter shoe for that distance. Outside of some questionable color schemes, I have no complaints about this shoe.

I have alternated between this shoe and the Brooks Defyance for the last several years. The Cumulus lasts about 300-350 miles, is pretty structured and sturdy for a neutral shoe, somewhat heavy for a training shoe.
