pretty comfy, sorta heavy

4/5

Overall

The shoe is comfortable, and provides ample support, which I need as I am prone to overuse injuries from miles of slamming upon the concrete. Good shoe overall, a little heavier than previous shoes, but it's to be expected with the provided cushioning.

Rincon sets new standard

5/5

Overall

Wow. Just wow. So I’ve always been a fan of Hoka although I’ve always wanted a lighter weight model that could be used for tempos and quicker workouts. And yes I know they’ve had the Mach, Hupana, and Cavu but personally I’ve felt those models have always fell kinda flat to the standards that the Clifton and Bondi set for Hoka. Then, enter the Rincon. Hoka really knocked it out of the park with the Rincon. You get that Hoka cushioning we all love with enough speed on it to use it for any type of workout! The light weight upper reminds me of the material similar to the Brooks Launch/Ravenna and the exposed EVA outsole optimizes it perfectly for that lightweight feel with just enough traction of the high abrasion areas for perfect grip. As far as durability it’s a little bit on the lighter side but for what you get for $115 I’m not complaining just simply stating my observations! The design of it is pretty subtle too compared to the likes of the Clifton and Bondi where they look like platform shoes haha and the red color way...mmmmmm talk about delicious. Yes I just referred to the Rincon as delicious. So if you’re looking for you’re new light weight trainer or workout day shoe. BUY. THE. RINCON. #AAA

Very light and comfortable shoe. Return feels very fast. Concerned about the durability as other lightweight Hokas I have had in the past only lasted 250 miles. I have 60 miles on these new Rincon and so far, so good.
