Great Shoe

5/5

Overall

I have been a pegasus loyalist since the 28's. This is by far the best of all of them. Light weight, stylish, and very comfortable. The tread lasts much longer, as does the cushion. It is a much more forgiving shoe. Reference: 50-70 miles a week, getting to 400-500 miles!

TLC for Long Runs and Beyond

4/5

Overall

At first, the fit was odd in that the heel support was super snug. I was doubtful about how it would perform during a short easy run. To my surprise, during the run my foot was in place. No chafing and I no longer thought about the odd fit. I love that it was softer than the 35s, although many runners love the 35s I found the 36s just the right shoe to run in following tough track sessions. The traction on the shoe is superior and appreciated! No more slipping and sliding on wet surfaces. The Pegasus 36 is designed for easy runs, long runs, and moderately paced runs. I wouldn’t recommend them for speed work days or tempo runs. You would need a lighter shoe for such work.

Peg 36

5/5

Overall

I think that this shoe is probable the best shoe I have ever bought other than the vaporfly nexts. These shoes are just what I was looking for. I wanted a shoe with a good amount of cushioning but not anything excessive like hoka cushioning. With the air unit inside and the zoom foam, this shoe makes me feel like I’m barely working but still running fast.
